So one thing I noticed, is before the update, pretty much any lure or bait I used would get fish in pretty much any grade of fishing spot, as long as it met the salt/freshwater requirement. After the update, my lower level fishing lures were not getting any bites in grade 5 fishing spots, once i switched to higher level lures, the bite rate increased.

Do you think this is more to do with that certain fish are now only found in specific places and grades of fishing spots now, and thus require lures/bait that suit that specific fish, or more to do with just the grade in general requiring level relevant bait/lures?

Haven't noticed any major changes. Was using Moth pupa at grade 5 leves today and it worked like a charm. As far as lures I don't use them as much unless I need a specific fish that can be caught on them according to Vespers bait chart on here and that usually works.

Would only know if they did something behind the scenes with testing.

I already got ripped today for not checking the lodestone notes on something else lol.. so I'll check again. I know there was talk about baits/lures .. future update though I think.
