Well, I just got my first level 20 fishing leve yesterday. One was just your standard cash reward. The other had a dodo harness and guild marks as a reward. Exchanging leves towards the guild mark leve DID increase the amount of guild marks you get from it.
I'm Rank 17 as of writing this. What was weird is that I got this leve from Gridania, but I could not get level 20 fishing leves from Uldah or Limsa Lominsa. I'm not sure if it's a matter of them not being in the game or if I just need to be higher level. But I don't know why you would be able to do one at a lower level and not the others.
I'm going to work on getting some more levels towards fishing and see if I can get the other Rank 20 leves. I hope you can get another fishing rod randomly from them as we did from the Rank 10 leves. |

Great to hear you got some guild marks... I have been wanting to get some as well but have not been able to locate them. I think I will have to take a trip to Gridania :D |

I also can only get the rank 20 fishing guilds from Gridania at the moment. I'm guessing they didn't enable them for the other two towns. From the people I've spoken with guild mark rewards all seem to start showing up in the level 20 leves so I'm guessing this is how it's going to be in release. Also I'm curious to hear how many marks you are getting.

1200 was the base reward. After exchanging two leves towards it, I got a little over 1600.
That's kind of a bummer that the other two cities possibly don't have level 20 leves available at the moment. I'll keep doing the ones I can in Gridania until the beta ends. I really hope another fishing rod shows up for this tier. There are still some Grade 3 fish that won't totally bite on my rod (Box Turtle, Nautilus) but it's hard for me to determine whether that's a rank deficiency or me needing a new rod. |

Bamboo Fishing Rod is next after the willow. Stats are; Gathering-37, Output-33, and Scanning-29. I came across a rank 24 Fisher several days ago that had it.

Either there's a really high level carpenter, or it's safe to say it should be a random reward from level 20 leves. Can't wait. :) |
