Drop rate for this fight is complete ass. :P I've done him probably 20 times now and all I've got to show for it is two CNJ staves. My CNJ is level 20 >.> |

didn't want to make a new thread but I just got my choc today finally and noticed the music is different from a rental bird. wtf!! nooo.. I love the rental version. This one sounds lame lol. Haven't done the ifrit 25lvl fight or devices. Did x2 lvl 25 quests in Limsa that became available after I decided on a nation for 300 seals each. Just had barely enough seals to get license. Had to name my choc after my doberman I used to have.. yeah I'm cheesy.

Grats on the Choc V. That is great that you finally got it. I still haven't gotten mine but I have my Marauder at level 23 (or 24?) so I am getting closer.
On a side note I have spent a lot of the holiday fishing and I am currently on 1500+ / 7320 for La Noscea achievements. These are going to be a pain. Wow it takes a lot of time and then I have to start over for the other areas. At least I am not level 50 yet so the rank 5 areas are not a complete waste but I can understand why some people are not going to go for these. It just takes way too long.
But nice picture, great that you got your mount :D |

Grats on the progess Kida  I know how busy you are as is. I did most of my fights solo. In fact only 1 did I need a little help and it took like 10 seconds with him. The other GC quests were easy. I did most of my fights lvl27-29 and was probably a good thing. Tack on protect and cure spell and you'll be good. If you have any trouble just tell me and we should both be able to knock it out. If you have any questions let me know. Here is the list of quests in order again: http://ffxiv.gamerescape...ory:Grand_Company_Questsagain.. you do not have to do imp. devices, into the dark or it kills with fire to get your choc. Once you commit to a city other quests around the cities will open up that will give you seals like the x2 lvl 25 ones I did from limsa and got total 600 seals to get choc. I had saved up some from earlier and did a few supply quests. As for the achievements I have been doing all the offhand grades for each region. Not too far off from being done but then I have to complete the rest of my main hand ones.  It was better as a miner and botanist to be lvling up and doing these. Going back and fishing G5 again for no xp is  I still don't undertand why we can't cap lvl 50 like we could in ffxi lv75. I am going to complete all of these though. That's part of why I play these games. Yeah choc makes all diff in the world. Took that pic during the last cs as I got it racing out of the city lol. |
