So are we not able to cap out lvl 50 like we could in ffxi when we hit the cap lvl but you could still max it out so in this case I hit 50 today and wanted to cap it out at 109,999/110,000. It tells me I am getting xp but it doesn't show it up top. Oh and that character to the side of me.. Oat Hiemdall.. lol has been fish botting for days now. This dumba** has been going at it with no bait for a long time and you can see the cycles of her stopping fishing, casting.. still no bait equipped. Just a blatant use of bot software. Yeah I reported her. What's even worse is she is part of some ls's that have very well known players on our server. tsk tsk.. That's what happens when you run a ls with mass numbers without getting to know them.

Yeah, people sure take the easy way and use bots in this game that's for sure. Craft bots, fish bots, bots to turn in items for GC seals. I guess they're asking for it with crafting because all you need to do is make a macro that presses Enter every few seconds to level it up. But all of the gathering classes require some interaction to be successful at it; even fishing where you can just stand in one place.
I won't lie; I used a bot some in FF11. During the time when rusty caps were profitable and then converting them into the other caps to vendor. But again, it was a system to where all you had to do was press enter. I will say that I've done everything legit in this game (except taking advantage of the AFK PL on a couple of my classes, but that's SE's fault!) and I'm proud to have gotten fishing to 50 without feeling the need to bot. I've found the gathering classes to be a relaxing distraction from getting my face pounded in by Ifrit or mashing enter so many times from crafting.
Back to the topic at hand, yeah, once you hit 50 on something you can't accumulate anymore xp on the job even though it shows you're still gaining xp. The only thing it really goes towards is your spirit bond on gear. |

Thanks Oro. Yeah I don't get why we can't cap 50 like in ffxi. Oh well. That's something they should fix though if it's gonna show us getting xp still I see no reason why we can't max it out until they raise the lvl cap again. It was nice to log on 11 and ding immediately when they did that. But yeah if you are going to bot just don't sit there and blatantly have it f*ck up right in front of me while you are off watching a movie. People were laughing at this person it was so obvious with it's actions and they were doing it right in the middle of Iron Lakes leve spot. tards..
