These are the rules for posting in the forums:

1. Be polite. So far the posts here have always been friendly and helpful. We don't want to see that changed as we want this to be a pleasant experience for all.

2. Post in the correct forums. Don't post about gathering in the crafting forum and so on. Try to find the forum that best matches what you are posting about.

3. No spamming.

4. Respect SE and FFXIV in general. It is ok to have an opinion and we love a good argument and differing views but don't flame just to get your troll on.

5. No selling. If you are selling gil or other related services you will be banned and your posts will be deleted without notice. This also goes for posting "articles" about shoes, handbags, cars or other completely irrelevant goods. If you personally have something to sell (like a computer) and have a relationship with the site feel free but we don't like first posters to provide links to their wares.

And so far that is pretty much it. The moderators and admins of the site have the right to ban you or suspend your account if you do not comply. So far the site has been running for quite a while without rules and we have only had some slight problems with spam. Let's keep it that way.

I just want to reiterate Rule #1. There were a couple posts made today stirring up a bit of drama that have since been deleted. If you have an issue with someone on these forums or if a topic garners attention that would be responded to negatively (such as calling certain people out) either take it to private messages or don't post at all.

Since this site has been up we have been able to maintain constructive discussions about FFXIV and we'd like to keep it that way. That's the purpose of these forums; to discuss topics about the game, not sling mud at people or linkshells.

Thank you everyone who participates here and let's make sure this site remains an enjoyable experience for everyone.

This was also brought to my attention and I was close to hitting the ban button. I did not see the posts myself so I will grant a second chance. I would like to stress that I am more interested in having a helpful and engaging forum than members.

Please just play nice. We rarely have any issues but we won't hesitate to warn then ban or just ban immediately depending on what you are doing wrong but usually I try to warn by pm first after removing offending content.

This is a DoL/FFXIV site run by Kida and the mods help when he is not around. We do not allow flame wars to start. We don't care if you are right or wrong. Go to the official forums for that stuff.


Any linkshell chatter must be kept to recruitment discussion and updates please. This is not your personal forum for airing grievances. Play nice or get warned/banned.. most likely a ban from Kida's Golden Ban Hammer.

2.0 ARR hasn't even started yet.. gonna be many years of playing this game so let's all get along. If you are having issues with someone on this site then PM us or them but keep it out of our threads.

Posting this again for some recent issues cause even though this is Kida's site we help keep it from becoming a lodestone nightmare.

Under no circumstances do any members new/old grief anyone else. You do it and you're gone or suspended temporarily depending on what you say or do. I personally have 0 patience for drama on here.

It's not a power trip thing.. it's keeping this forum clear of the drama bs that plagues the official forums for example. Kida gave me access to the

Kida Golden Gigantic Super Fantastic Ban Hammer of Might
so keep it cool please.



Please do not spam the forum and keep your threads in line with the format we all use. Just be a normal poster please.
