Is there any way to mark which week we're on? I've lost track, and it would be helpful to not yank my retainers around and lose stand leases and stuff...

I did that manually for the first cycle or two, but unless you know how to make a Google Spreadsheet change based on time, I'd rather not run the risk of confusing people at the time of the change. I certainly won't be awake when the list changes, so people tuning in after the change would have the incorrect week highlighted until I got around to updating it.

If I need to know what week we're on, I just check the Notice Board in whatever city's adventurer's guild and compare the items with the list to figure out the week. You can do that in any city, so it should be sufficient.

We're currently on week 8, soon to be week 1 in a few days.

Hopefully someone, whether this site or not, will whip up something that displays all this information. While I appreciate the positive reaction to the spreadsheet, it was never meant to be a permanent solution, heh. I would love to make it myself, but I don't currently do any web development (though I should probably learn).

Well I've commented to Kida about getting this up but it's out of my hands in the end.

OK Just wanted to let every one know that I have started the implementation of this. I have the database down and now need to implement it on the site. I am rather busy at the moment and must admit I have spent my spare time actually playing FFXIV which has been great.

I will continue work on this. It will be pretty similar to Guild Items list. I hope this will help every one. Thank you Raldo for all the work you have put in to collecting the data.

Yay... I finally got this one done. Check it out.

I am sorry that it took so long but I hope this is one of those better late than never things.

I am not 100 % sure that the table will change at the exact precise time that the Grand Companies change their requests but if some of you are online in the game at the right time and could check it for me I would appreciate it very much. I am going to try to do it on my own this sunday but I may not be able to do it.

Once again thanks to all (especially Raldo of course) for collecting all the information. There are still a few spots that need filling out but all in all most information is available.

I hope that you will get loads of info from this and can plan your gatherings/crafting based on next weeks items.

Great job! I've updated all of the spreadsheets with a message at the top that's hopefully enough of an incentive (or an eyesore, hah!) to get people to move over to your list.

I'll try to keep an eye on the spreadsheet in case anyone adds new data, but if people shift over, we may stop getting reports. You might want to put a message somewhere saying to sign up for the forums and send you a private message or something if someone has information regarding missing/incorrect data.

Thank you for implementing this!

I made a post about this on the Lodestone:

http://forum.square-enix...6-12?p=645664#post645664

and few other sites and also posted a link to your latest news update.

Thank you Raldo big time and thank you Kida for all your time spent updating your site.

This is AWESOME! THANK YOU!
(How did you get it to calculate which week it currently is?..I was struggling with that one, myself.)

It would be cool if there were a countdown timer under the current week heading that had the next day reset. I.E. It'd show when the current 28-hour cycle would end.

I believe the current schedule is:
Sunday 8am PST
Monday Noon PST
Tuesday 4pm PST
Wednesday 8pm PST
Thursday Midnight PST
Friday 4am PST
Saturday 8am PST

I second this. It would be nice to have timers especially since they all vary.

I never bothered to look, but... the 28-hour thing is constant? I just assumed it only started counting down once the item reached its quota.

man I am completely confused..

example.. saber sardines had met it's quota yesterday and the timer was at 5hours left so I came back later last night to turn in next weeks item and now the timer has restarted and saber sardines is at:

2902/3000 with 72:23 on the timer. so wtf is going on. It started all over again.

ok it's been what.. 30mins maybe? Sabers are now 3000/3000 and the timer is 27:29 So again sabers are full and the timer is counting down still.

So the timer starts (idk what starts at exactly) but with a lot more time obviously and once the quota is met the timer is cut way down and it moves to the next item when? Sabers have been going on since yesterday afternoon. twice.

Also I'm with the Maelstrom in Limsa

the rule is if not meet the quota it will refresh after sunday 12 midnight JP time.
and it will be refresh 28 hrs later after meet the quota, so say 1pm get 3000/3000, then next day 5pm will start.

honestly there are many ppl turning in the fish to get seal, so u better camp the timing.
i stuck with my 12sacks crimson crayfish over 3 days.

so the items for a specific week show up twice only. Cause so far saber has refreshed twice and once the quota is met the timer gets a huge chunk taken off like I mentioned above?

If that's the case and they only refresh twice then why even have a timer on Sabers for example today when the quota has been met.

So it should go to week 8 at Thursday Midnight PST no matter what even if the quotas for some week 7 items aren't met correct?

I don't think you're interpreting what he said correctly (scar was rather difficult to understand), but I'm not in a position to clarify until I check some facts.

There's nothing regarding items "showing up twice only", so I'm not sure where you got that. That is definitely not the case.

The "week" will only ever advance on JP midnight on Sunday (or Monday, depending on which side of the day part you interpret midnight to be on -- it borders Sunday + Monday). No earlier, no later.

ahh I understand now and ty Raldo and now that I go back and read Scar's post it all makes sense.

The items I see for Week 7 will last until the day/time you mentioned so basically I might help meet an items quota throughout the week multiple times depending on how fast the quota is met and also having to wait on the timer once it is met.

K well then I can just concentrate on the items I'm doing now for the rest of today and this weekend. JP midnight is if I remember correctly 10am cst for me.

I have updated the list with the information above.

And just to be clear... I am not able to make a 28 hour timer as we have no info on when this starts right? I mean it could start at any moment as we don't know when the quota is reached.
