Hey guys, I need to farm Luaun/Willow log. However when I checked the sweet spot list and the map filter on this site I didnt find both of them. I tryed checking on the web and went to the mentioned spots, I got diffrent wood. Did SE remove those from the trees? (I know you can still get them from the NPC). As of patch 1.19, Lauan and Willow are no longer used in any of the new recipes, so it was phased out, just like Pine, Cedar, and Chestnut (perhaps a couple more too). These logs can no longer be obtained. I'm pretty sure that no NPC sells them either, despite what you say. As for DoH, I use mooglebox.com If you're looking for crafting guides, however, I don't know what to tell you. Do local leves. I don't like crafting guides; I just look at mooglebox's ordered list of recipes and pick whatever looks easiest for the level range I'm shooting for. My only CRP suggestion is to make Walnut Lumber in place of Willow Halfmasks. Edited by user Wednesday, November 30, 2011 3:06:44 PM(UTC)

recently alot of players suggested mooglebox.com for me. Is it the most updated website? or is there something special about it?

The format is decent and I haven't seen any other websites with as much or more information regarding FFXIV crafting. It doesn't even have any ads (unless you count that top banner, which is a personal project of the mooglebox creator, an ad), which is a huge surprise considering the number of people that must use it by now. I can't say I've been actively looking for other websites though. My favorite feature is the section of checkboxes that allow you to see just DoH stats, DoL stats, etc. Thanks to mooglebox, I found out that currently the highest all-DoH Craftsmanship pants are the Lv40 Woolen Sarouel (Black). I wouldn't have been able to find that out using the in-game item search because those are located in the Middle gear ward rather than the Upper gear ward (Lv41~50).
