Caught one this morning. I suspended the user account and deleted their post. We (Kida) might have to look at making the registration requirements a little tougher if people are able to auto-register and post crap. |

Kida told me to report it to him this time w/o deleting the post so he can track the ip's and perm ban them cause it's coming from the same spam farm. wherever it is. More likely is a spam bot. I am having some problems with the admin part of the site these days but I am trying to find a way to stop this.
People will have to register manually though. I don't see how they can automate it when we have CAPTCHA enabled. I hope that I will find a solution to the problem soon.
For now just delete the posts when you see them as I take note of the users who spam and can find them. I know I said to keep them in the system but better to just get it away now. |

Not a problem. I'll just continue to delete posts and suspend the account. It's not getting crazy out of hand, and I couldn't remember if the registration process had CAPTCHA, so someone pretty much has to go out of their way if they want to spam. |

bots can do captcha. I might of found an easy solution though for him that I pm'd him about. we'll see. I actually see this bot spamming on here a lot. It's easily in the double digits for accounts I've suspended for this same person/people. The problem is when they post live links like they are which can be bad for any naive or curious members. They started posting very large images of chicks as well. lol. So I'd hate to see someone come down with a virus or keylogger issue and come back here very angry.
