Hello, did a lot of mining & fishing in FFXI and loved Finalfishing. Will be glad to see this one grow. Quit FFXI about 8 months ago, but have played it since beta until then. Plan to play this one for at least as long as that lol.

Wow that's a lot of FFXI. I would have liked to keep playing but in the end I realized I payed for several months in a row without logging in and then it seemed like the money was better spent elsewhere. But great to have you on board. Hope you will take loads of information with you from this site and that it will help you on your adventures :D |

Heya, I'm Rob from Chicago. I've played almost every SE game and FFXI was one of my favorites. FinalFishing.com was a big resource for my fishing career for the few years I played XI, and I'm glad to see it continuing for XIV. Too bad the OB is post-poned, fishing was going to be the first thing I did haha.

Hi I'm Chad from Texas. I played FFXI for about 6 years but I quit recently, just wasn't the same after the server merger. I'll be playing with my g/f once the Beta opens tonight. She is very interested in working out the trick to fishing and I plan to be an avid Botanist :D

Hey everyone, nice website going here, just what I was looking for. My name is Morbitia Grim on the OB, I'm running around on Cornelia atm. But nothing is permanent right?
I absolutely love fishing. Have been playing MMO's for many years and my main focus has always been fishing. I love the FF series. Though I've only been playing FFXI for a short time, I'm so excited about this game, it is absolutely beautiful and the fishing is definitely different.
I'm all for joining DOTL linkshell! |

Hi all. My name is Bobby and I played FFXI for about 5 years and was really into fishing. I plan to fish a lot in FFXIV while trying to juggle playing a Gladiator to tank for my guild. I'm providing updates to the site, specifically in the fishing area. I'm trying to get as much done as I can before the beta ends so at least people will have a good starting reference.
If the servers stay the same at launch, I'll be playing on Figaro as either Cortez Duskblade or Orophin Calmcacil (still undecided) in the linkshell Phoenix Order, so hit me up if you're there with any questions or w/e. :) |

Welcome to all the new people who have joined the site. I am very glad that we are starting to be quite a few people online here. I am currently working on getting some information on harvesting into the database but there are so many more things to harvest than fish.

Hi Everybody. Played FFXI a very long time as a fisherman and bard, which made me the freak in my old LS (until they needed me).
Have not found an online home in about 3 years, although I tried every MMO in that time.

Name is Joe. Originally from California, but live in Japan now. 26 years old. Have played Final Fantasy since III on Super Nintendo and played FFXI off and on for years. Loved fishing then and liking it a lot in XIV so far too.

Hello Everyone 
I'm 40 form B.C. Canada I have been playing FF sence the first one on good old Nintendo and own 1-13. played FFXI from NA release date till Jun on this year then I (Retired) Looking forward to playing FFXIV but unfortunitly have to wait for PS3 version. my laptop's graphics card just wasn't good enough . So I am stuck in limbo waiting for PS3 beta to start and then its going to be many all nighters playing catch up lol. Hopefully will see you all in near future least I get to see all the video's and walk threws so won't be going in compleatly blind lol Take Care

Hello again:
Signed up back in August..forgot pass lol. Anyway, after the 2 beta phases I finally have got around to playing my CE copy I got back on 22nd like everyone else. I see ya'll are on Wutai Kida. My buddy got us on Wutai back on the 22nd as he was first on and had to choose randomly. I'll have to thank him lol.
Hope to see some of ya'll around. I'm actually still fishing some on ffxi but I'll be on more and more. I gotta get busy crafting I guess to make me some better gear and better rods.
Burned through some quests for fishing and just gonna grind out some lvls now.
