Shirai here.
Also a FFXI veteran, although I never got into fishing that much.
I'm enjoying Fishin in XIV a lot, so much that it's going to be the first class I take to 50.
(Expecting to hit 50 this weekend.)
This site has the most information about FFXIV gathering on the web at the moment.
Thank you for that and I hope to be able to contribute some knowledge myself in the future.

My name is Matt. I finally got around to joining this site today, although I have been using it as a resource for years, especially back in 1.0! I am from Balmung. Tohru Honda in 1.0 and Please Relax in ARR. It's good to see this site is still up and I hope it stays up! Non combat activities in XIV are awesome.
My main classes are DoL which I have all to 50. I am working on getting every Luminary for gathering. Mining is complete, fishing is in progress and logging is up next.

25 year old gamer, Texan and medical student. I fish while I study and study while I fish. I'm a lvl 50 fisher on Siren right now, but I don't have an FC, so if anyone has suggestion it would be very welcome. I'm really impressed with how beautiful Ezorea is so far.

Hi all, my name is Georgia Johnson, i'm from England and i play on Gilgamesh server. Totally addicted to the crafting/gathering system on 14, loads more fun than it was on 11. Just got forager's rod and aiming to catch every fish there is, so hopefully can help out identifying conditions for any that are still needed on here :)

Hello, everyone!
My IGN is Marie Rembrandt and I play on Balmung. I got addicted to crafting/gathering as soon OBT came out, so I've been crafting since then. I played 1.0 for a bit (Fabul), but my old character was nowhere to be found.Even so, I made a new character and everything is going well. I've got all my master weapons and I'm currently working on getting my Supras. I host a LS called 'E-Mart', dedicated to crafting and gathering affairs.

hello, spruce tivianne from leviathan.
been playing for some time ;) decided to contribute whatever knowledge i can to help out.
lv 50 doh/dol except for alchemist and culinarian. about to start fishing for some of the rare fish, so if i find anything useful ill post it somewhere :D
