I was working with recipe bases, and I think we should chage it a bit.  For the recipe, it seems to only want the type, red, undyed.  But I think it would be better to have the full item name.  This makes the images at top better.  Also it would fix the issue where the base is before the item name, undyed xxx xxx.

So we would need to remove the main item name from the recipe display, and only show the base name.

Also, for the recipes that were entered before their base existed, there is no way to update the base for that recipe.  This also causes a slight bug when adding new bases if the default blank base was deleted/changed.

To make sure I understand... You don't want items to have names at all but all bases to include both base name and item name?

I think I see the point, let me know if I understand you correctly.

yes, pretty much. like Cotton Shirt.
It would have the item name Cotton Shirt. Then when you add a base (Red) you would put Cotton Shirt (Red) as the base name.

The problem with this is, if you make a recipe with Cotton Shirt (Red) as the base. Then it shows as "Cotton Shirt Cotton Shirt (Red)" in recipe.

I don't mind just putting (Red) as the base, this would make the recipe look correct, but only if the base came at the end of the name. A base of Undyed for an Undyed Cotton Shirt, would show in recipe as Cotton Shirt Undyed.

I don't care really how we go with this, even if we make it (Undyed) to match the colors, I just want to get it straight before I update bases more.

Ahh I got it now... I will take a look at it as soon as I get the time. The thing is I was afraid that you wanted items to have no names and that would mess up a lot of the site or at least take a lot of work as I would have to change it many places and sorting would have to include bases as well.

For the way the rest of the site is, it may be best to just put (Red) as base. Since I haven't seen the back end, I'm not sure exactly how it all links together. I have a pretty good idea though.
