First of all, I'd like to say hello to everyone and congratulate the admins on a beautiful and absolutely fantastic website.
With that said, I'd like to request that we be able to go back and edit an entry in our own DoL Log (maybe within a minute or two of it being entered). I know there has been more than on occasion when I realized I made an error in what I input into the log and wanted to go back and correct the information. I know I should be more careful, but sometimes I just don't notice that the weather changed, or that I changed my depth. You know, simple stuff like that.
Anywho, thanks for the great site and I hope to get to know you all very soon.

Hi!
Thanks for incorporating the edit function! It works great, but has an unexpected drawback: it clears all the fields completely on save! This means if I am harvesting, it clears the weather, moon, level, location, etc. and resets it to fishing! Minor thing, but annoying :)
Would it be possible for the page to remember my levels and location etc., from a cookie maybe, so when I switch between harvesting, logging, mining and quarrying (all in the same area) the fields are prefilled during that session?
Just an idea :)

crtl+click, middle click, or whatever else brings up link in new window/tab.
Although a cookie would be nice. Even nicer would be letting us specify ranks/gear tied to our account (in profile). Then auto-load at least that when opening page. Edited by user Saturday, October 30, 2010 11:40:35 PM(UTC)

I will add this to my todo list... I have some plans for the log as we get the maps implemented. I am not going to reveal all of my ideas here but I will add your ideas and feedback to the list of things that needs to be done. |
