Is there a source of info anywhere that lists what fish you can get in schools vs non-schools? I am very inexperienced when it comes to fishing, but I am under the impression that the yields are, at least sometimes, different. Edited by user Monday, April 30, 2012 8:37:55 AM(UTC)

As far as viewing what fish in school vs non school the only thing that comes to mind is click on maps at the top then go to the area you want, checkmark Fs and F and, any specific grade and search. Check out the node markers and they'll be there. |

What Vicious said, but unfortunately some of the newer nodes haven't been correctly updated. (Bloodshore for example) Also, you can sometimes find different fish at different schools in the same area. I've noticed this in Cedarwood where I'd get a completely different fish that wasn't seen at a different school. |

It has been a while since the fishing schools have been updated. The patch notes have not mentioned anything about fishing results as they have with mining, logging, harvesting, quarrying and spearfishing. Maybe it's time to get the maps updated and see what is out there. Also remember that any time you get something not listed on a node you can log it. This way we can see what people have obtained at different spots and see if corrections are needed. |

It's been tough finding the time to do any extracurricular activities with Garuda and Hamlet dominating most of my time. That and I'm trying to level my crafters so that I can try to have an edge on HQing militia gear for Hamlet turnins. I wish there were more time in the day. :/ |
