There are quite a lot of new items and they can be seen on the lists page. The changes to gathering have also been added to the Final Fantasy XIV gathering maps but some items still remain as we are missing some resource points in Nine Ivies... this will be added as soon as possible. What is just as exiting is that I finally got around to adding all recipes so all you FFXIV crafters can now find any recipe you may desire. All in all 5367 recipes have been added to the database and that is the exact amount that can be found on the lodestone. I am really happy that this has been done as the recipes were really outdated and a lot were missing. The interface on this site for recipes in Final Fantasy XIV has also changed making it lighter and more agile. You should be able to sort the recipes and find the ones you really need. I still have some issues with the ranks of the recipes as they are listed in a 10 level range on the lodestone. I know the excellent guys at Mooglebox have cracked this and I am looking into how this may be done. If you have any advice let me know. Other than that you will see some small changes to the site here and there. I hope you will like it. |

Mooglebox discovered recipe levels by having people post their current level and exp gains. He ran a contest of sorts rewarding forum signatures and such in order to get people to report their data to his website. Exp gain is a constant formula with no random number generator involved anymore, so it's a simple formula to figure out the level of a synth. Although, if you were to do that now, you'd also have to ask for the bonus exp granted at the end, and whether or not Hasty Hand was used. That said, he'd probably be ok with you using his data (though I would ask, just to be polite). I understand the desire to not just copy someone elses work, but if you're going to come up with the same result in the end, it seems like wasted effort.
