Hi, everyone,
I have a question. To use a specific example: I'm currently a rank 14 botanist. When I look at the maps here on this site, it tells me that Blood Currant is a rank 21 gatherable. Does that mean that a grade 3 harvesting node will never drop it for me, until I reach rank 21?

You can gather anything at any level. Only three things affect off-hand gathering success rates:
1) Your level
2) Your 'gathering' stat
3) The grade of the harvesting point
The 'level' of an item is irrelevant for DoL. It's actually only used for calculating the bonus to initial quality when using HQ items during DoH synthesis. |
