This is a minor suggestion for your site design.
When I go to the "Items" page of the site, there is no vertical scroll bar because there is not enough content on the screen. But if I mouse over a category on the page that does have enough content (like "Tools" for example), the vertical scroll bar appears and gives this jarring shift to the left when it appears. Mousing off the category then has the vertical scroll disappear again, which does the same jarring shift to the right again. It's a little disorienting for that split second.
Could you add to the site CSS to allow the vertical scroll bar to appear even if there is nothing to scroll to? That will stop this effect.
