Watched the live letter this morning on pads.. like 5am for 2hrs. Pretty cool pv had the dual producer letter and Rein's live translation/twitch side by side. The thing I took from the letter was the amazing graphics and new areas we were shown in limsa, ul'dah and outside both. The lounge chairs on the dock with fishing poles next to them and the bibiki bay water around it was really nice. Also loved all the huge statues like the lala one.. pretty awesome looking. The weather thing I'm pretty sure was mentioned before and doesn't really change my mind about how fishing will be in 14 sadly. We'll see how things turn out but for now dol has taken a backseat until I see or hear otherwise how it will be. I may be forced to make that a funsy thing when I get bored or for farming items or rewards/gil only and concentrate on crafting, housing and of course dow/dom content. That final quote i did, has me very worried "some ppl" interpet it to mean dungeon gear will always be better then crafted gear. I missed the live letter but found a recording on youtube.
had limsa, thanalan and maybe la noscea?
Hard to tell since it's in Japanese I loved finally seeing my precious limsa, didn't reconize all the landmarks they pointed out and couldn't understand them. Yoshi-p jumped arpund areas alot idk if that beach town was in thanalan or la noscea but looked like it belongs in la noscea, i remember a beach town in 1.0 but name escapes me atm.Great video even if i couldn't understand it all.Edited by user Thursday, April 04, 2013 7:45:24 PM(UTC)

Thanks for the resume. I totally missed the live letter. It was in the middle of the night for me and I had forgotten. I really hope that fishing will surprise us and be more challenging than hinted so far.
I am going to read the Q&A and have a look at the pictures.
I know the forum has been kind of dead lately but I have been two weeks to Thailand and the Easter came and the family needed attention LOL But I am hoping to get the forum a bit more lively in the near future :D |

You still around man? lol.. haven't seen you in awhile. Phase 3 is starting at the end of this month from what I read and then the official game this Summer.. not sure when this Summer though.
